The Art of Scent

If you find yourself across the pond in New York this winter, do be sure to check out curator Chandler Burr's The Art of Scent, at the Museum of Art & Design.

We love that the exhibition is a look at fragrance as an art form - something Miller Harris believes strongly in. By exploring the history of standout scents from 1889 (Aimé Guerlain's Jicky) to 1921 (Ernest Beaux’s Chanel N° 5) and beyond (Daniela Andrier’s Untitled, created in 2010), the show is a celebration of the artist as well as their creations and raw materials.

Fascinating!
